[bars] October BARS newsletter

I made do with bracketed towers for about 23 years. Even that monster T-10 was only on 45’ of 25G, bracketed to the first Westford house. Man, that thing was LOUD.
My first one was a 45’ Wilson mast that I bought from John, K1KSY (SK). I had it up in W Concord for 6 years and it worked great. Sold it to Jeff, WA1I and don’t know its fate. Everett (AJ1I, SK), Dan (N1BHK) and I put the thing up. Dan and I still have memories of Everett standing in the hole where the base was going, up to his knees in muddy water (like a grape-stomper) calling for more gravel!

>> Wow! Great job on doing the newsletter this month! I guess we should just call it the Wallace Report. I drove by your house yesterday, Andy, and I saw the “windmill” on its side in the side yard. Both stories were mesmerizing.
