Hi,

Receiving no response to my earlier BARS Field Day message, I began to wonder just what BARS members are planning for field day.

TO BARS MEMBERS: What are your Field Day Plans? There are several options:

1. “A BARS Field Day at Home” running Class D. When you submit results please list Billerica Amateur Radio Society as your club.

2. Field Day with another Club.
You can find nearby Field Day sites (or see my list above) using the:

- ARRL Field Day Locator at http://www.arrl.org/field-day-locator
- More clubs are found on the Eastern Massachusetts Field Day locator https://fd.ema.arrl.org/field_day/

3. Field Day with friends or a non club group like a 1 or 2 person portable in a park or campsite.

4. Field Day at someone else’s home station.

Whichever you choose, try to spend at least some time operating in Field Day this year.

Here are 8 the Eastern Massachusetts club locations I found on the ARRL Field Day locator. Many of these are nearby should you want to help them out.

MY PLANS: I am thinking either of (1) QRP Field Day at Home running 1E emergency power or (2) maybe a QRP 1B Battery in a nice park or seashore location.

73,
