[bars] Need to ID this noise.

Nothing wrong with your radio, first of all. It’s some kind of pulser. Some hams use them to tune up amplifiers to go easy on the tubes. But it could also be an intentional jammer (to keep people from hearing a shortwave broadcaster) or if could even be something testing the ionosphere. Did it eventually go off?

There are lots of interesting sounds between 2-30 Mhz. Have fun tuning around outside the ham bands.

Someone feel free to correct me. :)

Hello everyone,

After a successful QSO with Lancaster PA (5-9) and Myrtle Beach, SC (5-5), which is my farthest contact so far, I turned my radio and tuner off, then back on and got this. Can anyone help me ID this noise? Thanks so much!
