I forgot I have something else you could also try, if you feel adventorous
-- a ginormous Japanese Accura Mirror Ultratel 500mm lens, f/8 so you
absolutely need a tripod if you want to avoid blurs, and you have to
experiment with longer shutter speeds and other settings to get what you
want. It is a catadoptric (reflector) lens (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catadioptric_system) from the 1970's. T-mount
but I have the Nikon adapter for that.
