I did the upgrade back in 2022, and downloaded the official copy, saved an additional and printed a copy with email address and FCC ULS password for future use. I have helped many hams near and far with this  procedure. For those of you who did not upgrade... Open two windows in your browser. 1.  http://fcc.gov/cores2. Your email client Window #1, the cores page, put your email address and Password.  You will see you have to check your email for a registration number that you must put in window 1. Now go to your email and find the email from the FCC.  Locate the 6-digit numbet and enter it.  Click SUBMIT. NOW... Go in to the far left box on cores page and enter your email and password and look on left margin for options. Payment and Renewals are there.  73, BillP, WZ1L P.S. I just got notified that the application to renew my license was approved.  Thanks to all the fine BARS members who advised me on the process. If you are going to renew your license and need to make an administrative change (such as a change of address or a change of name) at the same time -- don't.  It's better to do this as two transactions: get the administrative change out of the way first and then apply for the renewal.
