You can create an email address simply for the purpose of official communication.
The internet is not dangerous if you learn how to use it. That is true for everything that is potentially dangerous.
I agree that it should be possible to renew by postal mail though. That assumes that the post office will still exist.

If I can’t renew by mail… then I won’t be able to renew my license in a few years, darn!
I don’t do the Inter-web any more.
It’s too freaking dangerous!
I ran out of user names and passwords years ago and don’t have any more.
Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.
Remember, a wise mann once said:
There is a Sucker born every "Second" and "10" to take-him!

Off Topic:
I have a new job and I get to drive cars AND talk on a business walki-talkie at the same time.
I am working in Movies, as a Background-Extra and a Precision car driver.
I have been in 20 movies in the last 4 years.
Absolution:
If you watch the movie Absolution, there is a bar room fight scene in the beginning.
WF1F is the only guy holding a pool que! Look closely

I recently had to do this. It was not easy. You are dealing with two different database maintained by the US Gummit and they clearly are running on circa 1990's IBM AS400's or something similar.
And, if you do something wrong, the error messages returned are super not useful, in fact misleading.
The goal is to link the two DB.

I need to renew my license soon. It expires in February of 2026. At the same time (I hope!), I need to change their records to match my present legal name. Can anybody explain what I need to do to accomplish this?
